There is a thirst in me
But i know not what i thirst for ….
I follow the path,
But i know not where i am headed
And i know not where it ends
I seek the shade of a bountiful tree
To find that it is home to many
But I…..
…… I move on
Along the path, trodden or untrodden
In search for something…..
…… A something that i know not what
I take pride in my roots
But i aspire to reach out to the skies
Like a falcon gliding in the open sky
I long to breath free
Paint the sky with my flight
And yet, leave no traces behind in the sky.
